Mmm... I can see your point, but on the other hand his awareness of death and what it means wouldn't be that strong, so Jack could've manipulated him into it being a hero thing to do. (Which it would've been, just... yeah). I think I just wanted Jack to have more interaction with Stephen, then that wouldn't have made me so cross ^^
