More Torchwood related ramblings

Phew, I know that Torchwood is now airing on TV in America, so hopefully by the end of the week I wont have to keep putting cuts up for spoilers for it since most people will have seen it!

Well, today I sent off my coffee to RTD in the post as part of the Ianto campaign. More info about that can be found on the site: http://www.saveiantojones.com/

Or there's chat about it and any other potential Ianto campaigns at the LJ group: http://community.livejournal.com/savecoffeeboy/

I sent off a bunch of sachets ot coffee, including a letter to RTD, which was only a couple of pages long. I could have written much more, but considering the very large chance that RTD wont read it, especially with all the other Ianto related letters he'll be getting, I didn't think it was worth writing loads. I just summed up my feelings in what I hope was a polite and courteous way.

I also printed off a couple of "Save Ianto" postcards that are on the website and sent then, and printed off a separate letter to the BBC and sent that.

I know a lot of people are hoping that the Doctor will play a part on bringing Ianto back when Jack meets up with him in the Christmas episodes. Quite frankly I can't see that happening, what with the Doctor being so cautious about messing around with timelines. He wouldn't have even changed that to get Rose's dad back, so I don't think there's a hope in hell for Ianto. However, that doesn't mean he can't be brought back some other way. There are many other ways to do it, Sci-Fi is the one TV genre where when someone dies they don't have to stay dead!

I'm wondering if there will be more people taking part in the coffee campaign once Day Four and Five have aired in the US (although I imagine many American fans will have already seen it one way or another).

Stay Beautiful,

Aissa.
