Hmm, well it's been over a week since my last journal entry and I usually like to try for about 1 a week, even though I usually have sod all to type about, as you will notice to be true in this entry!
My dad arrived for his monthly visit on Saturday, so that was cool, we chatted, threw the ball about in the garden a bit, and I finally managed to convince him to watch "Saw" which he said he has heard a lot about and so finally got curious enough to watch it. He's never liked horror films or gorey stuff so as I expected he wasn't to fussed on "Saw". He seems to think that people who like horror films must like power because horror films and power are apparantly connected. This is what happens when you have a father who's been studying psychology for years, he has to analize everything!
In continuing with the horror theme, I finally saw Hostel when it came out on DVD. It was pretty good, took a while to get going, you have to sit though about 40 mintues of sex and drugs before it really gets going. For fear of spoiling it for anyone I wont say too much, only that the eyeball scene made me squeemish, and after watching horror films practically everday since I was 6 years old it takes a lot to make me squeemish, but then again stuff with eyeballs usually sqwicks me out!
And lastly, art. Seems to be going good, I've finally got my motivation back, although right now it seems to be focused mostly on anthro art, I'm working on a couple of anthro requests and a female anthro bat at the moment since I'm quite fond of bats. So appologies if you are watching me for my fanart stuff, I seem to be low on ideas for that at the moment, so unless I get a specific request for a fanart picture it may be a while.
So... that's about all for the next week or so,
Stay Beautiful,
Aissa.
