A Doctor Who quiz where Catherine Tate didn't know exactly what the acronym "TARDIS" stands for... she nearly got it. BARROWMAN! Singing Ood. Phil Jupitus imitating the Doctor having sex with a Dalek, while David Tennant looks on. Bernard Cribbins completely upstaging David Tennant's joke about someone's bra on eBay (I can't remember whose it was now) with a better joke. "Knock, knock" and "doctor, doctor" jokes that are as old as time itself. Catherine Tate's confession that she didn't realise until very late that the Doctor was actually called "The Doctor" and not "Doctor Who" and David Tennant's even more shocking confession that he is the one person in the whole world that actually likes Coldplay (although I agree with him on Kate Bush)!

Yup, it was a great Buzzcocks!

DAVID TENNANT TO BE ON NEVER MIND THE BUZZCOCKS AT CHRISTMAS!!!

This as well as QI!!! Along with his final Doctor Who episodes. I am worried I may not be able to make it through Christmas before dying of a Tennant related heart attack.

As if that wasn't enough, Catherine Tate and Bernard Cribbins will also be on that episode on Buzzcocks.

This is just so brilliant there aren't words enough to describe it's brilliance! So I'll just go with: BRILLIANT!

Ok, so in my last journal entry about Simon leaving Never Mind the Buzzcocks I said:

First Bill has left it, and now Simon. I honestly can't think that it will be worth watching anymore, not even for Phil who is now the only good thing left in it.

Unless they get someone brilliant to replace Simon *cough-JohnBarrowman-or-StephenFry-cough* I may not watch the new series (when/if they do a new series that is.)

Well... that part about not being worth watching anymore, and that I may not watch the new series, scratch that! Because they have indeed gone and got someone brilliant to replace Simon.

Alright, so it may not be John Barrowman or Stephen Fry like I would have wished, and at the moment of writing that last journal entry I couldn't think of anyone else that would make me happy. Then they've announced that it will be Noel Fielding to be taking Simon's place! :D

All I can say is: Fantastic! He was awesome when he replaced Bill for those three episodes a couple of years back, so I think he'll make an great presenter. I am actually looking forward to the next series now.

Still sad that Bill wont be coming back for it, but Noel fucking Fielding as presenter = w00t!

Aissa.

P.S. Excuse any late replies to any comments, I have an eye infection right now and am not online as much as I normally would be.

I am gutted!

I woke up on this miserable, rainy Saturday morning, only to find out that Simon is leaving Never Mind the Buzzcocks! Nooooooooooooooooo! To quote Simon in my icon, I am indeed shocked and appalled!

First Bill has left it, and now Simon. I honestly can't think that it will be worth watching anymore, not even for Phil who is now the only good thing left in it.

Don't leave us Simon! D:
