So, finally the day has arrived. No more of having to call Blair the Prime Minister. Hoo-fucking-ray! I am not going to pretend to like Blair, I don't, I hate him. Everyone seems to feel like we're not supposed to say anything bad about him now he is leaving, we're supposed to remember that he "tried to do what he felt was right", and say nice possitive stuff about him. Well fuck that!

Blair, in my eyes, will always be a liar and a war mongerer.

First promising animal righters that if he became PM he would reduce animal testing in labs, and put more money into alternatives. Only to completly backstab us when he actually became PM, and then put MORE taxpayers money into vivisection, and promoting it vigorously. Then insulting anti-vivs, saying we had "immature and misguided beliefs".

OK, so lying and backstabbing is all part of a MP's job application. It seems to be a necessary trait if you want to be an MP, and especially if you want to be the PM.

People then say "oh well what about hospitals, and schools, Blair helped make them beter". Yeah, well come to my town and say that. Our emergency hospital closed down a few years after Blair got into office, with the next nearest one being over 15 miles away, not much good for someone who is having a medical emergency, like my grandma when she had her stroke. And we've been fighting to keep our primary schools open, since the government have been trying to close them too.

So he improved the NHS did he? Like when the NHS hospital my grandpa was sent to, when he was having heart failure, and they tried to convince him he was well enough to go home, so they could free up the bed, only a couple of days before he died?

Let's not even mention the Iraq disaster, thousands of dead innocent Iraqis, invisible WMDs, and completly fucking up the country. The fact that he's never even appologised for it. The cash for honours. And the whole fucked up Bush worship part of Blair's time as PM. Blair had the potential to be a great Prime Minister, especially after the Tories reign had fucked the country up, but he didn't.

Although, in choosing between having Labour with Blair (a man not quite right wing enough to be a Tory) in power for the last 10 years, or still having the Tories, I'd pick Blair everytime.

Still doesn't mean I like the lying, war mongerer though! (no offense to any Blair supporters here).

So I say bye bye to Blair with a smile on my face, and only hope Brown will make a better PM,

Stay Beautiful,

Aissa.
