So, the next Doctor is being announed today...

Yup in a little over 12 and a half hours (5:35pm). I'm crossing my fingers it's going to be David Tennant saying "Ah I've decided to stay on for one more year"... No? Ah well, a fangirl can dream can't I? XD

As sad as I am still am to see David go, I am curious as to who will follow him as the Eleventh Doctor, and at least it will put an end to all the mad speculating that's been going on since David annouced he was leaving. I will definitely be watching at 5:35.

Reactions to 11th Doctor

Well the 11th Doctor was indeed announced today, and my reactions are as follows (I wont mention the name in case people don't wanna be spoiled) ... although it'd be impossible not to be spoiled, it'll be everywhere by tomorrow, especially in the UK, they're bound to have it in the news. But just in case, this bit is spoiler free. Will post the promo photo under a cut though, and there may be spoilers in the comments.

1. Who the FUCK is he?! *googles him* Uh...huh, still none the wiser!

2. Young, very young, youngest Doctor yet, I was kinda hoping for someone a little older. Ah well. Maybe they're going for another Peter Davison type Doctor? Younger, more vulnerable and innocent, more human? He reminds me most of Peter Davison out of all the previous Doctors.

3. He looks kinda weird, but that's good, the Doctor is supposed to be pretty weird, so it suits the character, and I'm not gonna judge the book by it's cover.

4. Still unsure. I'm not willing to judge him on appearance alone, and as I've never actually seen him in anything before I can't judge his acting. I'll just have to wait and see when the time comes... which is another year yet anyway.

5. DON'T LEAVE US TENNANT!
