Manic Street Preachers at #2
Jan. 16th, 2005 04:07 amWell the Manics released their seconds single "Empty Souls" off "Lifeblood" last week and yet again they got robbed of getting to #1 in the charts, damn it!
Yes, Elvis got in at number one with a re-release of one of his songs, he sold about 6000 more copies of his single than the Manics did of theirs.
Ugh, it's so annoying, they only re-released that Elvis song to get money, I never liked Elvis before and this just makes me dislike him even more.
Also this week was the 1000th British chart since they began putting music in charts so it was even more significant and it falls to someone like Elvis, it's so frustrating.
Better luck next time Manics!
In other news my sleeping is completely screwed up at the moment, I have major insomnia, I have only gotten a few hours sleep in the last few days and everytime I do actually manage to nod off for a while I keep getting these totally fucked up, freaky nightmares that are scray enough to make Freddy Krueger wet his pants!
The last time I managed to go to sleep I had a nightmare that I was stuck in a box or something, and I was lying on top of cold dead bodies with their dead eyes staring at me and there were more bodies being thrown on me and I was being crushed by them, than after I woke up from that one I went back to sleep again and had another where I was looking out the window and lightning was striking and it suddenly set the grass outside on fire and the fire was moving at un-Godly speed towards the house and before I could even try to run it had engulfed the house and me, and I could see my arms and body burning and see the flesh burning away and the muscles turning black and I could feel myself dizzy and starting to die.
I normally don't mind nightmares, in fact I usually like them, but not when they keep waking me up when I'm having problems sleeping in the first place, gotta stop watching so many horror films late at night!
Stay Beautiful,
Aissa.
