Birthday stuff.

Well it's been quite a quiet birthday, didn't so much interesting for it. My mum brought me a couple of Nintendo DS games, and my brother got me the new "The Hill Have Eyes" remake DVD. I got a card from my aunt, brother and mum, my dad phoned up to tell me his card will be late, and my aunt and uncle will be sending one over this weekend.

Anyway, as I said it was a quiet birthday, got some chinese food and watched the "The Hills Have Eyes" DVD my brother got me. I don't think it was as good as the original to be honest, it was definately gorier, but then gorier doesn't mean better. I wont say too much so's not to spoil it for anyone, but I found it did drag on a bit in the lead up, but the end was pretty good. Maybe I liked the end because it was quite different from the original I'm not sure, but I'd definately say I still like the original better.

I didn't get any money for my birthday since I got gifts instead so it may be a while until I can save up enough for me new scanner (since I am completely broke at the moment!) so it looks like any new art I have is going to be very slow in forthcoming, since I can draw straight into Photoshop it does take longer than if I work from a scan.

I also wanna save up to get a Wacom tablet someday (I keep saying that) but that wont be for a long time yet since those are still quite expensive and with me being broke, and needing a new scanner it's gonna take a long time to save up enough!
