Finally! YAY!
Jul. 23rd, 2006 02:12 amWow it's been a while since my last entry, how time flies when you're.... well being bloody bored really but nevermind!
Firstly I wanna start by saying a big YAY! I'm so happy! *squee* I have finally gotten my hands on James Dean Bradfield's solo album "The Great Western", I have been waiting months to hear it since my computer can't download music too well so I've had to wait to get the CD, all the other Manics fans have heard it by downloading it and I've been so jealous reading all they've had to say about it on the forever delayed forum but now I can join in because I finally got my copy in the post!
I have only heard it a couple of times so far but I love it, it's both similar and different to the Manics type of music (if that makes sense), and the syles of the songs really change from song to song. I can't figure out which is my favourite yet, will probably need to listen to it a few more time to really appreciate it, but then I'll probably have heard it a hundred times by the end of next week (ok, slight exaggeration).
In more art related news I'm hoping to get some more art up pretty soon, I'm currently working on a couple of requests for a friend so those will be the next ones up, it'll take a little longer than usual since my scanner is still down (damn it!)
Well that's about all for now *bounces off to listen to "The Great Western" again,
