Happy Easter all
Apr. 6th, 2007 04:04 pmJust wanted to start this entry by wishing you all a very happy easter, I hope you have a good one!
I am hoping things are going to start looking up for me now, I just looked through my DA art gallery and noticed that I've only done about 3 completed pictures since this year started. It's been such a rough years so far I've hardly done anything.
First my grandpa getting sick, then passing away a couple of months later, then my cat going missing, then finding out he was killed on the road... ugh, I just wish I could start this whole year over again from scratch.
I've been quite depressed and am finding it hard to find the motivation to draw, I do, however, have a long list of pictures to complete. Among said pictures are about 6 requests from friends, a 2D/Muds slash pic I started last year! one of my wereside, and a couple of Happy Tree Friends pic, including one of my fan character Tufty. I'm certainly not short on pics to work on.
So *hopefully* if things actually start to look up this year (by some miracle) I should actually be able to get some of those finished, and to start submitting more than one picture a month! I am also working on another slash fanfic (since I had a lot of fun writing the last one), despite being a terrible writer I like writing. I'm one of those people who can't write to save their lives, but insist on doing so anyway, I like the challenge XD
Also I just realised something, the Manics new album "Send Away the Tigers" (subliminal message: buy this album!) is going to be released on May 7th, which is the same date as Rik Mayall's "The New Satesman" play I'm going to. That's a bit of a pisser! It means I'll have to wait for hours until I get back home in the evening to hear the new Manics album. Typical, any other day of the year and I would be able to listen to it right away. How is it that sod's law always manages to dictate that important things must come on the same day?!
Anyway, I think that's about all for now, hopefully I should have some new pics up soon, although I'm not promising anything!
