WARNING: SPOILERY "END OF TIME" TALK, SQUEE, SPECULATION, AND EXCESSIVE USE OF EXCLAMATION MARKS AHEAD!!!
Because seriously? Unexpected!Naked!Master and Collared!Master all the in same trailer?! I think the Beeb have read my Christmas wish list this year! Not to mention Bondage!Master in another preview clip! *Head asplodes* The Master finally has a goatee again (yay!) and can shoot lightning from his fingers! It will be really interesting to see if it is the Master who kills Ten. Some people seem to think he will be saving the Doctor from the other big bad in the episode.
The Doctor in serious Oncoming Storm mode whilst confronting the Master as the Master attempts to zap him with his lightning fingers. Also, what about that huge Seal of Rassilon behind the Master's head in that one scene? (I may have missed seeing it the first time because I was too busy joygasaming from the aforementioned Collared!Master.) Which only adds even more to the "Time Lords are returning" speculations.
I cannot express how much I am looking forward to this! I haven't been this exitced and anxious for Christmas to arrive since I was about 8. Can it be Christmas time now please? I just REALLY hope RTD isn't going to fuck it up somehow. I have rather little faith in looking forward to anything written by him too much since the whole "Children of Earth" monstrosity. But it's hard not to get excited when the trailers look so amazing. At least this time I know my favourite character is going to die, so that wont come as a nasty surprise!
Even still, though, this looks great, and at the very least should spawn some new Doctor/Master fics. Which is always a bonus :D
