Finally got to see the Ianto shrine
Jan. 27th, 2010 02:44 pmSo I finally managed to get around to going to see the Ianto Jones shrine at Cardiff Bay on Tuesday. unbeknownst to me that it was appararently the same day that Britain's Got Talent was holding auditions or something at the Millenuim Centre too! So in hindsight as someone who is slightly phobic of crowds - to put to mildly - maybe it wasn't the best day to go as there were quite literally hundreds to people at the bay! I wish I had known about that before I went!
Despite that, though, I was determined to see the shrine and add my card to it. I managed to put my card up and take a handful of photos before a bunch of school kids passed by and after seeing the shrine they stopped to look at it and ask their teacher who had died (clearly not realising that it was for a fictional character). It's a shame I never managed to get to see it before it got flood damaged. But it seems most of it survived in tact. Anyway, here are the photos of it.
Long shot of (most of) the shrine.

Some close ups:

Stay Beautiful,
